So I couldn’t wait any longer,
I’m 19 days postpartum and I went to the gym this morning.
I knew I was ready and it feels so good to be active again.
Abductors 1 x 50 @ 75 lbs
Leg raise 3 x 12 @ 45 lbs
Standing Leg Curl 3 x 8 @ 20 lbs
Seated Calf Raise 3 x 12 @ 35 lbs (machine weights a lot!)
Another Seated Calf Raise machine (the one where you push yourself up) 2 x 12 @ 80 lbs
and while waiting for my friend I did cable row 3 x 12 @ 45 lbs
and 20 minutes @ low intensity on the stepmaster.
My coach was there, as well as the 2 others girl I competed with last year. It was almost like a reunion! You should have seen us screaming and jumping around, we must have looked like fools
